Project Task Analytic
Dedicated analytic account per project task, created automatically
Gives every project task its own analytic account, created as a child of the analytic account of the project, so that costs and revenues can be followed task by task.
Features
- Per project switch Auto Create Task Analytic Account, with a system-wide default set in Project ▸ Settings.
- On task creation the analytic account is created with the task name, the project analytic account as parent and the plan of the project (or the Default Child Plan used for Tasks of that plan).
- Renaming a task renames its analytic account.
- Analytic Lines stat button on the task, and a Related Task field on the analytic lines.
- The analytic account search bar also matches on the parent account.
Demo data
- A Task Activities analytic plan, child of Projects, set as the default child plan for tasks.
- The Office Refit project with auto-creation switched on: each of its three tasks gets its own analytic account, child of OR25 Office Refit.
- Two analytic lines booked on the task accounts, so the Analytic Lines stat button is not empty.
